Whoaaaa it's been a great week for me, so far all of my plans goes well. However, I finally get my thesis topic FIXED. I choose "The Existence of Entertainment Stage in Life of A City: the glitters and the traditional". This is a subject-to-change one but it won't go far from that.

However, The 52nd Annual Grammy Award is on TV about two days ago, in my super rush time, I managed to sneak-in to The Red Carpet Press Photo Library and here's what I found. (ps. beware of the images attack)

Lady Gaga
 (via stylelist.com)
Red Carpet Dress: Armani Privee Dress by Giorgio Armani, Armani heels.
Our outrageous Lady Gaga going futuristic with a haute couture creation and beside stealing some attention on the red carpet she managed to steal two Grammys which are Best Dance Recording for Poker Face and Best Electronic/Dance Album for her album The Fame.

Rihanna

(via just jared)
Riri wore a high neck, open back crepe gown with chiffon applique and feather detailing from Elie Saab Haute Couture. earrings and bracelet by Neil Lane and rings from Diamond in the Rough.
I gotta be honest that I don't like this dress at all. Gee, she lost her necks at looked all wrapped up in this dress, the feather ruined it all.

Britney Spears
 (via stylefrizz.com)
black long sleeve lace dress with a black body suit by Dolce & Gabbana
Brit produced another disaster at red carpet, even the lace part is better on the runway than on her, why she has to choose the fishnet pattern like that. Total sham!

MINIDRESS MADNESS

So there is a series of mini dress appearance on this year Grammy. Some people said that it looked small for the huge event, but in my humble opinion it looks greaatt! come on we are tired of long flowy drapery dress that wipe the red carpet surface. We need refreshment and this series of mini-dress is great actually.

Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie

(via socialitelife.celebuzz.com)
a blue Pucci dress, a Kwiat cuff, Jessica Robinson ring and earrings, Le Silla shoes, and a Judith Leiber clutch
With her fellow bandmates, Fergie pump up the Grammy's stage with their performance. They also won two grammy's which are Best Pop Performane By A Duo Or Group with Vocals and Best Pop Vocal Albums. As a perfect closure to her lovely dress, she has her gorgeous hubby, Josh Duhamel, as her finest accesories (oopss kidding!)
(via tvguide.com)

Heidi Klum

 (via gossipcenter.com)

The happy mom of three plunging an Emilio Pucci V-neck dress with swirls of bronze and gold sequins. She  accesorrize her stunning look with strappy metallic sandals and an oversize butterfly ring.

Glee's Cast Lea Michelle

(via pawsandkisses.net)

Romona Keveza dress, Fendi bag, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Brian Atwood shoes.
The lovely Lea won Best Female Pop Vocal for her performance in Glee series. And she might won my heart to for her lovely swan dress.
Disney's lovely Miley Cyrus

(via celebrity-gossip.net)
Miley is using a bandage dress from Herve Leger by Max Azria
________________________________________________________________________________________
PINK

 (via instyle.com)
apparently our Pink isn't wearing any pink in her dress, but this mermaid cut ombre dress by Tony Ward Haute Couture looking totally glam with addition of Neil Lane jewelries.

 CIARA

 (via stylefrizz.com)

see through lace dress from Givenchy S/S 2010

this is definitely not 1,2 step Ciara, you are taking it over the top. I somehow don't like the choice of dress, that full patterned dress, I think there are too much going on. But this is better than Britney, I guess.

Giuliana Rancic

(via iconaccess.com)
Sergio Rossie Peep Toe Slingback Sandals, Catherine Malandrino LBD
here comes my favorite tv host and by this dress she truly deserve a seat on E! Fashion Police show. I love the continous swirl give accent to the LBD, her make-up is flawless too.
Beyonce Knowless
(via stylefrizz.com)
Stephane Rolland's textured dress, accessorized with Casadei shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewels
I'm not quite sure about this dress, it didn't wow-ed me just like what Beyonce use to do but I have to admit that this dress fit her body and showed off her curvy figure perfectly. BUT I hate the highlighted hair of her, looks sham for me. Btw, she changed her dress three times and the best of them is her audience dress, the dress she used when her sitting in the audience seatings.
Armani Privéé mini-dress detailed with Swarovski crystals and killer heels from Ruthie Davis
I prefer this mini-dress than the red-carpet dress, this Armani Privee dress is more Beyonce for me. And by the way, Beyonce sets new record by bringing home 6 grammys that night. Her Single Ladies single won Song Of The Year, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, and Best R&B Song. While her album, I am  . . . Sasha Fierce won Best Contemporary R&B Album. She also got Best Female Pop Vocal Performance award for Halo and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for At Last. It's really her night!
MOST FAVORITE GUY APPEARANCE
ADAM LAMBERT

AND..THAT'S A WRAP, PEEPS!

I was browsing until my eyes fall for this great great photos. I love love love this crows so damn much. I mean who doesn't love this gossip girl family? (errr maybe there are some of you who don't) But, I'm pretty sure there are way more of us who loves them. As for me, they are a perfect portrait on how living in the big city isn't as beauty as common thoughts, the idea of 'big city, big opportunity' sometimes being comprehend in the wrong way, which cause massive urbanisation in our lovely Jakarta City.
Next, they are also a perfect example on how being rich, famous, and also powerful didn't guarantee you to have a happy life yet it is sooo complicated and full of intricts. Even when you are only dating those socialites, it will affect your life as well.
In my opinion, there is so much to learn from life of the upper east-sider. How a high school girl/boy could be involved on crime, hatred relationship, and a mean bullying, IF they are not think twice.

Not to forget the great fashion inspiration from each cast which embodies a variety of style and character. A rebellious Jenny, classy Blair, modest Vanessa, sexy Serena, and so on and so on.

So yes, I'm not surprise if this series has tons of its huge and loyal fans. Because of the multi-angles of relationship is pretty interesting. I mean like "Chuck is in love with Blair, whose boyfriend cheated with her bestfriend who fell in love with a brooklyn boy whose sister is accidentaly kissed Blair's ex-boyfriend who endep up to be the brooklyn boy's bestfriend's date". Did you get it? err I could understand if you don't :D

soooo who's agree and who's not agree with me??! plis kindly share with me, leave a comment! I'll be soooo much appriciate that.

ps. this is a scheduled post, because by the time you are reading this post, I will be on holiday with my college-mate in a villa in Puncak. Soo I see you again when I come back.

In the meantime, please take care of yourself. And as a epilogue, please follow my blog, I'll follow back, if you comment, I'll comment back.

xoxo,

The Golden Globe 2010 Red-Carpet Runway

This time I won't do Fashion Police here! Because I'm too tired on preparing my mini-thesis project this day. But having this as blogpost is so tempting since I've been following the updates of The Golden Globe Awards 2010 all day from my blackberry.

As far as I see, there are some yaay and naay outfit on last night's show (oh come on, it's always been like that). So instead of giving any comment to each photo, I'll just featuring the yaay version. Well I know there would be some different opinions with all of you but hey whose blog is this one anyway? Soo, if you see it differently, just post some, leave link in my comment, and I'll rush myself to yours as soon as I read it. The differences that make Fashion Police exciting right?

here we go, darling...

Maggie Gyllenhaal on RM by Roland Mouret “Sirens” mermaid gown

Heidi Klum on Roberto Cavalli white dress Lorraine Schwartz jewels standing with her hubby Seal

Anna Paquin on Stella McCartney sequins dress posing with her fiance Stephen Moyer

Diane Kruger on Christian Lacroix Haute Coutore

Fergie on lilac Elie Saab chiffon gown

Ginnifer Goodwin on blue Vionnet dress, Judith Leiber clutch and Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps.

Dianna Agron on Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2010

Cory Monteith on Hugo Boss suit

Chace Crawford on Dolce and Gabbana suit

well, that's my best picks for The 2010 Golden Globe Awards, Beverly Hills, CA. The bigger picture shows the outfits that I like the most, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith. Both of them are Glee casts and the rest of them is lookin fab too that night.
Last, I hope I would have another time to do my naaayy part. I'm not in the mood right now coz I'm freakin' tired for today. Plus there's sooo much of it, yes, unfortunately there are many poor celebs who simply got wrong in their outfit. But we'll see then. Until there, please take a good care of your life. Have fun with it, don't get so serious.

goin to sleep now, adios!

xoxo,

Burberry ss10 Accesorries Campaign

Actually I didn't like seeing our little Miss Granger doing her previous Burberry f/w campaign. But this time, I think she did a pretty good job. I love how Watson interact with the other male models, also including Alex Watson, Emma's brother.

The Rockin Taylor

"I'm not Little J anymore, Penelope" -Jenny Humphrey, Gossip Girl

(via fuckyeahskinnybitch)

oh yes, this rocking lady is not a teenage superstar right now, you should count her as one of Hollywood stylista. With this awesome sense of fashion she could stand side by side with Nicole Richie or Coco Rocha (at least for me *wink*). But the point is, I super-love you, Taylor.

REST IN PEACE Brittany Murphy

Our beloved Brittany Murphy died today, dear Friends. Sources said she was rushed to hospital yesterday after suffering a full cardiac arrest. I was literally got chocked up when I watched E! Breaking News on breakfast this morning.

This girl steal my heart from her famous debut in Clueless as Tai. Clueless has been a great great grow-up teacher for me. I adore their dresses there. Then how we love her as Sarah on Just Married and also as Molly Gun on Uptown Girl. She is as lovely as her wavy blonde hair. I love that whenever she played as a girly person she never fail. There are still a lot number of her screen project but I just saw a little of it. They are Sin City, playing with Eminem at 8 Mile, Little Black Book, Girl, Interupted, and so on...Ahhh yaa..don't forget we also used to hear her voice as Gloria on Happy Feet

I love  We love you, Brit. So sad you gone so fast.

Deepest condolences to her friends and family.

ps. Image source mostly from Wikipedia, the rest, I googled it.

Emmy 2009 Fashion Police (kinda late)

Really sorry I'm so much late for this post. This whole week is such a madness in my college. i only sleep a little each day, very exhausting. But I still manage to post something finally.

well on Emmy this year there are a lot of ewww things for me but surely there are several works that worth thousand thumbs up too.

let's give it a shot.
which one do you like and eww the most?
p.s. fell free to comment any of these goddess outfit with me.

JANUARY JONES - silk satin evening gown with embroidered glass beaded bustier by Versace.
I don't know but I kinda feel weird with this outfit. It looks like alien costume in my eyes, are you going to join the Star Trek crew, Ms. Jones?

KIM KARDASHIAN - white one shoulder silk gown by Ina Soltani
Kim looks super-hot in these outfit. She looks glowing by the perfect hairstyle and her huge earrings. It kinda reminds me of J.lo, I guess. Do you?

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT - gown by Max Azria and Judith Leiber clutch.
This is always been her style for red carpet thing, and I only could say B-O-R-I-N-G. Give us any different theme on your look, Ms. Hewitt.

HEIDI KLUM - gown by Marchesa and Lorriane Schwartz jewelry.
who doesn't love this mom of three and soon to be four. The ex- Victoria Secret Angel is still looking stunning and oh so-slim. And I looove the baby bump. The detail on the dress is magnifico.
I simply adore her, just like Seal.

LEIGHTON MEESTER - gown and clutch by Bottega Venetta.
This Upper East Sider bitch is my role-model. I love her bitchyness as Blair, yet her innocense as Leighton. But this time, maybe she got my most 'ewwwwww' so far. I can't believe what she or her stylist think when she choose this dress. The puffy strap on her shoulder reminds me of a puff bread, the layers on the dress made her look oh-so-fat and the makeup (jungle red lips) is a BIG NO for that outfit. If she choose nude for makeup maybe would safe her better. At least I could say, 'Hail to the Goddes'

DREW BARRYMORE - nude pink gown by Monique Lhuillier, jewellry by Anna Hu, and special made clutch by Raven Kauffman Couture.
This is my most fave red-carpet actress. Nominated for her role in Grey Gardens, Drew (again) succesfully appear awesome in a perfect dress choice. This princess dress looks glamour yet simple, bright yet pale. She succesfully balance the soft tone with bright red lipstick. Way to go, ma'am!

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE - gown by Basil Soda and Devi Kroell clutch
At first sight this gown looks pretty, but then I feel it is so much going on there. The one shoulder accent. embroidery lace in the waist area, and the long wave. There are many players and each shout for their own. Thank God the other is neutral.

DEBRA MESSING - gown by Michael Kors and Lorraine Schwartz jeweleries.
So actually this gown is cute, heart the accent in the middle of the dress and the simplicity she offer. Just watchout, Debra. You look undifferent with the carpet below you.

CHLOE SEVIGNY - polkadot gown by Isaac Mizrahi, vintage brooch by Nadine Krakov, and Lana Marks snakeskin clutch.
the cutting is extremely weird plus polkadot is not for a premium award show, enough said.

BLAKE LIVELY - gown by Versace and peep toe heels Christian Louboutin.
She emphasized her beauty perfectly. Her long legs is exposed, very low cut top part of her dress, and the hairstyle that's so young. Very bee-yu-tee-ful. Thanks to her stylist Marie Alice Haney.

KARA DIOGUARDI - all unknown
IT'S MY MOST FAVOURITE LOOK
too bad I didn't catch anything when I see E! about this Idol Judge's Emmy Look. But certainly this dress steal my heart. The most adorable part is the batwing arms and the v-neckline. Gorgeus! At least something that's not one-shoulder, which seems used by almost sixty-percent lady on that show.

SANDRA OH - gown and clutch by Marchesa
The Grey's Anatomy' Star is looke statuesque on this golden dress. Statusque in my vocab means looks like a statue hehehe. The decreasing width in the downline is very unique and the fabric detail made her oh-so-glowing that evening. Go asia!

ROSE BYRNE- gown by Valentino
The dress may be got the best dress award from me, but Ms. Byrne has disturb the beauty of her dress by her hairstyle. What's wrong with you. It's like you are in the middle of doing fitting. Go find a more glam hair.

MILA KUNIS - gown by Monique Lhuillier, Fred Leighton Bow Bracelet, and Ferragamo heels
GET THE MOST EEEWWWWW FROM ME
If Monique Lhuillier is succesfully transform Drew as a nude pink goddes then she is also succesfully transformed Mila as a 3-years-old princess wannabe girl. It is tule overload here. And THE MOST AWFUL THING is the length of the dress is f-ing weird. Too long for minidress but too short for long dress. What are you doing here, sista?

MARY LOUIS PARKER - gown by Zac Posen.
She is nominated for her role in Weeds. I don't know wether she is so happy for her nomination or she don't have time to prepare. Her looks is so casual for Emmy. It is much better if she is wearing it to a sweet-sixteen party or just having a haute dinner. The big bow is wrong also.

VANESSA WILLIAMS - all unknown.
again I miss the info about Ms. Williams, sorry but they are talking too fast :D. But this gown looks pretty for me. It fits perfectly in Vanessa curvy body. The color choice is uncommon too plus it's not one shoulder. The big earrings and big hairstyle complete it perfectly. Love you, lady!!

Emmy is the last award show each year so to you, fashion police lady, see you next year!!!
