Pre-Graduation up till the BIG day!

Pre-Graduation up till the BIG day has passed...
Only memories that last...

So baby hold on tight.
Don't let go!
Hold on to the love we're makin',
'Cause baby when the ground starts shakin'
you gotta know, when you got a good thing.

You know you keep bringin' out the best in me,
And I need you now, even more than the air I breathe.

You can make me laugh when I want to cry.
This will last forever, I just know.
I know!

Mission Not Accomplished

I know, sorry.

That's all I can and want to say. Sorry for not fulfilling my promise to keep updating.
Time runs so fast and I really wish, deeply, that there are more than 24hours in a day.

Poor me, bad me!
As a quick recap, there are two highlighted things going on around me right now.

First, past few days, I finally had the chance to go get some lunch with my duo sweety-F, hahah not that F, but they are Fika and Fhenny. We are catching up at the newly open restaurant in Pacific Place, Nanny's Pavillion. The place is uber-trendy and very catch in the eye. Go bathing there!

It isn't planned for the three of us only though, Fhenny and Fika did invite some more, but either them who cancel their attendance or me who have to run back to office.

Which going to be my second update.
Yes, I am working right now. While waiting for my graduation on late August, I decided to apply for a writer position in Elle Decoration Magazine. And tadaaa...here I am. Still on adaptation process, make mistakes here and there, learn this and that. Just wish me best of luck, kay?

Oh and the August issue had been out since last week. Go get some! *tee hee*

btw, thank you for the best wishes and prayers sent to me when I was working on my thesis. I succesfully get the cum laude title along with my bachelor degree. It would be nothing without you, whomsoever you are.

See you when I see you, diamonds of the world!

Sacred Spread - 07 Juni 2010

I am a huge fan of magazine, both fashion and decoration magazine. Well not fan, I am an addict, freak, whatever you name it. I found it useful to share it to you guys.
So as from now I will have my
Sacred Spread,
a place for my all time favorite magazine spread!
Hope you find it interesting to see.

Why?
because I always been a big fan of Classy European touch in fashion, I'm not so into American street style though my daily wear is sort of that simple, ha! inconsistent I am. Blame it to the environment around me that keep giving me that annoying look each time I try, no, actually blame it on me who don't have enough guts and creativity to do so.

Shout to me what comes in your time as these gorgeous images of Lily appear in your screen.
I will put interesting comment(s) on the next Sacred Spread post.

Meanwhile, the loveliest, Claradevi Handriatmadja, nominated me a sweet blog award. I am flattered, for sure. Thank you, beautiful!

You know one of my principle, right? that goodness must be spread around, that's why I didn't keep this myself. The rule of this award is spread the news to the other sweet blogger and the award goes to . . .
tadaaa . . .

(each image shown above courtesy of these links below) - in clockwise order from top left

Congrats to my 10 sweetest blogger shown above, if you noticed I left one spot right in the middle. It's for you, yes you, you who have been coloring the world with your smile. Don't hesitate to tag yourself and spread the goodness, and I'll see you around, diamonds of the world!

Memoirs of Side Porch (in all-brandless look)

For you who looking for a girl with branded things, you can't find it here.

Shock, baby? hahaha wrote this coz someone ask me a question on twitter, asking that why I keep stating 'unbranded' in my look details. Well, I am not the one that against those luxury branded stuff, otherwise I adore them wholehearted. I want to have my own LV neverfull damier or drapery chiffon gown from Elie Saab.  It's just I can't push my parents to afford me that stuff. More shock? Yes, I know not everybody could admit like this publicly, some may said 'shame on her' to me. But that's the truth, I can't afford the original and I can't stand myself using the replica version of it. Therefore I go for something unbranded in RTW store, department store, or even local flea market. Why not? it's the style that I go for not the brand tag attached on it. So pardon me if I keep wearing my local-store or unbranded stuff as it goes as cool as the pricey one. If you find it no good, I don't find any problem if you decided to leave. Massive thanks to the attention given to this blog.

great photos by my beloved photographer man, memoirs of side porch, a cozy laid down dating time at my side porch. Decided to adopt Russell's look, the scout boy on UP movie.

found this cute detailing outer at local bazaar in less than IDR 100,000 ($10), how can I resist that?

Late May Fling

Hello diamonds of the world, yes I mean you, how y'all doing? My boyfriend captured a great close-up picture of mine and the result is wonderful *sorry for being so narcistic* Well, as for me, it's been good on me, not to mention my slow-speed thesis progress. Enough of my thesis drama, I am here to spread the goodness. Some of you might have heard or even have participated, but some of you done. So as a constant tweeting bird, I am going to chirp the news.

The well-known department store in Indonesia are having its latest fashion campaign. It's our all-time favorite, Metro Department Store. To welcome their summer collection, they are having Fashion Fling Contest which going to be held from now, yes the time you read this, up till June 5th. They are hoping all of you to participate.

"HOW??" comes in your mind, so worry not, girls. As I said, I'll chirp everything about it. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is send your photo that most suited their contest theme. There are two themes which are delightfully dreamy and eclectically edgy. If you have no idea about these two themes, here are some hints for you.

delightfully dreamy VS eclectically edgy

Three winners of this yummy contest would get each IDR 3,000,000 (three million rupiahs) of Metro Shopping Voucher. Don't have the guts to join? you still have the chance to win another Metro Shopping Voucher worth IDR 100,00 (one hundred thousand rupiahs) for being the crowd of reviewer. Yes, by ONLY rating and commenting the submission of others you have the chance to win that daily, every day from now to June 4th.
Sooooo, what are you waiting for, dress up like doll, capture it, and you could start wandering around Metro near you and spot some of your delicious target. Or, sign in daily and probably you'll end the day with winning the daily prize. Exciting, isn't it?

This contest ends of June 5th, 2010, which means you don't have much time. So hurry and check on my submission too *wink wink*, kindly rate/comment if you want. Don't forget to follow these two twitter account, @METROdept and @fashionesedaily to catch up with latest updates for the contest.

I promise you to post a look real soon, already have the materials but too lazy to work it in LightRoom. So I guess, I see you on the contest microsite since I'll be wandering around quite often.

So have a great day, you diamonds!
xoxo,
